I read it and to be honest I think Toyota needs to wake up....the 2nd generation is getting kinda old if you think about it....and pretty much what it boils down to on the latest change Toyota makes on the new model is a new grill...I remember when Toyota would change their design and come up with fresh ideas...take the Celica and Supra models from the 80's they changed their design every 4 years or so...what do we have....not much change since 2005 other then different paint choices or accessories

Man fuck those guys, what do they expect, a mercedes truck? Its a truck its not meant to be luxurious or plush, if you want a luxurious truck buy a Denali or a Cadillac Escalade EXT if you would even call that a truck.

They called the 4.0 creaky and old, man that thing is a great engine! it pulls hard and is plenty for that truck. Besides it says 236 hp cause Toyota tested the engine again with 87 octane fuel witch produced 236 hp, when it first came out they tested it with 93 octane fuel producing 245 hp. Atleast thats what i was told and believe

SAE changed the way engine power was rated and tested. This caused almost all motors currently being sold to be "down-rated" in power, even though the physics obviously hadn't changed any.

The 1GR does get a slight gain in HP (3) and a considerable gain in Tq (12) with 91 octane because knock sensors no longer have to retard timing.
