Ha damn, guess we're in the same boat.

My neighbor was smart. They rototilled the entire yard with fresh topsoil and now the dirt is soft and pliable.

 

Where I live its ancient clay from an old volcanic mud slide full of granite and basalt. And its frozen 8 months out of the year.

i have a bobcat at my disposal. so lifes easier

 

Was pretty funny when the contractor gave up using the Bobcat and started using that Jackhammer with the shovel attachment.

 

I’m running about 3” ish of lift with my set up and they’re holding up nicely. I thought about pulling some leaves but glad I didn’t. If you decide to go the shackle rout let me know, they’re sitting in my spare parts pile. If you’re in Gunni I’m in Junction, so relatively close.

That's my issues, I am not really wanting to run much of a lift because with that I will want 33x10.50r15s, but living in Gunni for school most of the year I have a to drive between Gunni and Longmont. with the 235/85s the 2.7 already is not much of a speed demon. So I think 1" of rear lift will be perfect for the topper so I think pulling leafs will work for me.

 

Lol, There is that. Lift makes you want bigger tires, which makes you want gears, and on and on. It’s a dangerous cycle.

 

After Regearing my Jeep I know it makes a huge difference, but then after doing a 5th gen 4runner, (not and east coast swap, a real regear) I never want to do toyota gears again... unless its ECGS or NITRO.

The one that flopped out of the Z was somehow dented even though it's a cartridge and has been protected since 1987 and like the other three shocks... Completely dead, like no resistance

I wonder if those are like the Taco/minitruck ones. The taco and minitruck warns have been proven to be weaker than the seriously stout Aisin stockers

 

No idea, i have aisin ones on it rn. Trying to find cv shafts for it. No luck. Wonder if the 4wd pickup from that year shafts will work

 

Part number are different but it looks like you could cannibalize a pickup CV from those years to rebuild your van ones. On difference should be length and outer spline count and it may just be the length and that's it

 

warn hubs are way weaker than th aisin ones.
