    There are ways around using the Pro version to log wideband data, but it's going to cost you something like an EGR input, or some other 5v input. You can log the analog output of your wideband through the vacant input. But the general populace wanting to log wideband data should just opt for the Pro feature set.

    Is everyone disconnecting the battery in between flashes? Wondering how important that step actually is.

    Caveat..

    I'd add, if you're not comfortable with assuming the risk, stick to the instructions/prompt. But from my testing, the truck can be flashed without disconnecting.

    I'd absolutely (100%) recommend anyone who has done changes which could alter the fueling (MAF/Intake/Injectors/Etc) reset the ECU between flashings so LTFT's aren't affecting open loop fueling with your new setup.

    I remember back in the day when I was getting my GTO road tuned I had replaced the cam in it which totally threw the way the car ran off whack.. everything was off, fueling, timing, everything. He did a full tune including a change to SD (VE) tuning at the MAF eliminating it from the running equation and never once pulled the battery for it.

    I'd say we are safe, but I do agree, resetting the learning if you feel more comfortable with it is always a huge help.

    If I'm not mistaken, with many (if not all?) of the GM vehicles HPT can reset trims from the VCM Scanner. I could be mistaken but I think that is a thing.. And probably what they did there if I had to guess.. But good datapoint.

    It is very possible. As much as I hate GM they are an absolute blessing when it comes to software capabilities and available data display on scanners and HP tuners. They are so ahead of the curve its wild.

    The only thing I miss about them actually, and big overwhelming N/A power, Lol.
