The Maxx is too heavy and the Pros are too aggressive? I'd still go with the Pros. No such thing as too aggressive for a daily driver!

I think I've seen those tires on the rock buggy scene. It's supposed to be one bad ass tire. I follow Tim Cameron on the rock buggy circuit and I believe those are the tires he is running on his buggy now.

Yep, those are the new USD Stickies, a 46" tire.

Most buggies run some sort of super beefed 1 ton axles, usually with a custom housing.

Eddy Busted a hub at Morris Mountain and decided to go 2.5 ton.

Some sort of forced air induction will probably come soon after this weekends trip the way his build progresses.

I never had balancing issues with my KO2s. Also never had someone with a different AT tire really do anything more than me. My KO2s made it through Shrek's Bootyhole in Kentucky lol

I personally didn't have issues. It was a great tire. Mine were E load so I felt every piece of gravel or bump in the road, that was the only issue. They road great and wore great too. I had over 50k when I got rid of them and they probably had about 10k life left.
