Yes, it was an April Fool's day joke from one of the big 4X vendors.

Well if he's in high school, I'm sure he'd appreciate good advice. What if he genuinely thought 2500lbs was enough for his truck when he bought it? Its better he found out now than finding it out after he got stuck doing something thinking "I can just winch myself out"

    :notsure:

I used to do some pretty stupid shit when I was younger and then pretended it was on purpose. Still do but I used to also.

...Having dozed off to sleep, I was awoken by an unusual sound about an hour later. It sounded like small grains of sand landing on the tent and rolling down the rain fly. Rain? No - it definitely didn't sound like rain, which lands with a single drop. A squirrel in a tree above, dropping pieces of pine cone on the tent? I didn't think I'd parked under a tree...

i tested my 'max' out one time back in 2oo2
set the cruise on 55mph and drove to StLouis nonStop other than rest break (it took forever to get there!)
410 miles @ 24.97 mpg on stock tires and almost 70k on the engine
my almost-new snow/mud/highway rubber can barely make it to 300 miles on a tank now

must be broken or burnt out, mine comes on as soon as the needle grazes the top of the E line. Unless it's different for some reason on individual trucks
