There is hunting allowed on State Parks. didnt see anything on carry. I called my game warden buddy and left a voice mail. he should get back to me today

Ooh not sure Tim. I know open carry is allowed locally I have seen and known folks that did it but in parks IDK

 

Indiana and Kentucky both allow fire arms in parks so long as you are legal carry. Kentucky doesn't even require permit to carry or conceil any longer so long as you are a legal resident. Does NOT apply once you leave the state. I have to have permit once I go to Indiana.

 

Honestly I have never really checked the laws here for it. The only time I really carry is to and from hunting or a shooting range and then everything is cased.

 

99% of the time, from about age 25 or so, I've seldom left the house without a weapon. Never once have I needed it. And That's a GOOD thing!

Yes it is. Sadly with the increase in Meth usage and other horrible things crime has gone up around even our quiet little town and it is a growing concern
