I hate mud too, especially watery and soupy mud. It's this water and soup mixture that gets into your seals and bearings. Thick, clay mud, I can handle. Soupy, watery stuff, I stay away from.

So what's keeping you from the Pros right now? Noise, balancing, tread life? Only you can justify tires to yourself! lol

I've climbed the side of our landfill here at work and got my tires a little muddy and that's about it for me so far! I'm gonna go ride that easy 600 road with @InfernoChalupa one day.

Let's see! I surely don't want to damage my truck in any way.

Yeah, iirc I was only at a couple thousand miles, when my profile pic happened following this guy..

Just don't have the time to get out lately. Need to get some sliders too before doing too much more anyway, but gotta save up. Been spending on other smaller stuff lately, and a big trip coming up though- seems like there's always something in the way.

Well, if you're going to eventually put skids, sliders, bumper on your truck, you might as well get the STT Pros...:D What's gas mileage? lol

I've been offroad driving for over 30 years now. I can give you some pointers for sure. I've done mostly hills, cow pastures and some mud as a teenager. Started out on a dirt bike and 4 wheeler, until I turned 16 and got my 88 Toyota. Experience is going to teach you way more than what someone can tell you.
