My wife up and took my truck to the store last night without saying anything. Came home making whining noises. I told her she didn’t have to drive it like that. She laughed and informed that she did have to drive it like that and then started asking me what the gauges all did.

Could always work with HP tuners to send your ECU in so they can pull the calibration file.

That really sucks.. I think a ECU swap is in order here. I'll donate $50 to getting you a new ECU.

I think that may be quite literally the last piece of the puzzle to unlock better tunability at this point.

Tundra MAF works! It will require some modification if you want the whole box to fit and I have to figure out something with the inlet tube if the OEM look is what we are after.
Regardless the Tundra MAF does work fine when rewired. Thx @loginfailed for the diagrams and @JustDSM for answering techy questions.
Even the Tundra air temp is very close at current temps.

    20190424_112103.jpg
Temp installed for testing. Intake tube flipped.20190423_183332.jpgThe diameter with a piece of 3" tubing inside for reference. Makes the 3" look tiny! No flow restrictions here.
    20190423_175954.jpg
This is how much room you have to work with. My abs is on drivers side so I dont have that hurdle to overcome.
    20190423_180043.jpg
I cut all the mounting brackets off after this pic. I'll drill a couple holes in the bottom of the box to mount it if I stay this route.
    20190424_124005.jpg
This is how it sits just setting it in there.

I had a MAF extension harness I got for my sc intake mod, then got a pigtail for the Tundra MAF. Soldered them up, loaded the Tundra MAF cal into the Tacoma and BAM! Larger intake and MAF headroom for days!

That and making sure the pending codes are cleared, or else guys like you would be having to swap components around every two years.... Hopefully that one gets addressed too.
