Right. How I see something vs how it is typed on a post is two different realities. And may come across the wrong way.
But I am honestly not here to step on anyone's toes, and don't want people to have the wrong impression. I love DIY. OVTune was bord out of DIY back in 2007.

If I wanted to intrude I'd offer tunes on HPTuners or something. Not interested at all in interjecting myself into what you guys are doing.
I'm happy to see what JustDSM is doing, and not here to step over that.

I appreciate you clearing that up. Even if you were to offer tuning on this platform I wouldn't be offended.

As I've stated to all here, I really do wish to help. It's my ultimate goal to help those interested in this stuff by giving them a starting point that enables them to build upon.

I know we have history, but I can let that go.

I did. I understand that what you guys all wanted, I wanted to provide, but was unable to.

Would be really cool if I could just put the custom code I've designed into HPTuners.. Then you guys could have some extra features + a great editor / logger / tuning tool.

    Yes
I was thinking about swapping the ECU also, there is a 2013 xrunner ECU on Ebay. Nothing changed from 2013 - 2015 so I think this would work. HPtuners has confirmed that the 2013 Cal file is supported. It is a risk but I might go this route

Yup there was never an update for my Cal file. The 2015 TRD cal is supported.

Do you know what vehicle this ECU came out of?
I sent in pictures of my ECU and this was the reply I got.

"We have looked a little further into this and unfortunately it does not look like obtaining an ECM (whether we purchase one or you send in yours) is going to help with this situation.

We will keep an eye out for an update to your file (304A4000) to be able to support it, but at this time we will not be able to support your ECM.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Thanks!

Just a heads up, i have a 6spd 4wd and only ECUs from 2013-2014 would work in my truck. Obviously yours is different since it's an x-runner, but there may have been slight changes like that happened between 12-15 year model ECUs. The biggest thing is just making sure the part numbers match up exactly

I bet a 13/14 would work in a 15 truck as long as other options are observed (2wd/4wd, AT/MT).
