I forget to turn it down sometimes because the song ends as I pull in the drive. Then she hops in and is like "DAMN!" and then grabs the volume like lightning.

 

I haven't got one only because use my tailgate to hang mountain bikes over, but you and @geekhouse23 make valid points on why to avoid it.

I have a Memphis big Belle from 2012 that I want to make a box for and run a single 12

 

My wife's got a little 600w pushing a single 12" Alpine Type R in a sealed box. Does pretty well in her 03 Corolla.

 

I don't disagree with you but I was thinking of getting my hitch in that location, I totally get it takes away from the HC thing but I just don't like having to flip down the license plate to tow things, plus I feel like it brings it closer to the truck. but I was talking to my buddy and I only tow something maybe 3 times a year. bringing my boat to get winterized/ when I pick it up and the only other time is if im helping a friend move and I hook up an enclosed trailer. so I think for the 3 times I tow, I can live with it.

I saw that thread a long time ago and was like sickkkk so I book marked the item but then I realised its in a 3rd gen. if this fits in a second gen with no mods and just wire splicing I may look back into it

I put a self amplified sub under my passenger seat and it works great. I really love it. it adds just the perfect amount of base. its not 2 12's like I use to have but it just adds that missing low end bass.
