Bumpers get wet all the time and you can dry off with a towel afterwards. No excuses! :D

On a serious note, if you know anyone with a garage it shouldn't take too long once it's painted.

would offer mine, but I'm 4 hrs from you

Yeah, that's the trick. 1st day will be all painting. If the weather ends up being clear next week, I'll probably do removal and cutting while painting, but it still gives me two days to install lol

A little something every chance we get.
We JUST NOW went over 1" for the day, so that is a nice, reasonable rate! Nicer during the week than the weekend! And I have only had to water the Franken-yard out front one day this month!
After the thunder and lightning stopped about noon, I got my living room switches replaced. They used to be old X-10, and one switch would burn out Halogens like no ones bidness! I have no (minimum) X-10 anymore, and want to convert the lamps to LED, but old dimmer would not be compatible. So, I ordered a couple for what I needed, that will dim all sources, I can control them with the phone app, and then we paired up the App with Alexa, now my wife can say "Alexa, East 50%", and there we go! I liked enough to get a couple more!

Waiting for it to get deeper. I did that during a flood in Houston in 2003

Sounds like @Oldie2007 is still hip with modern tech! Way to go. It’s the newer version of the “Clapper”.

When I was a kid living in Houston Hurricane Gilbert came through and my bro and I went out wading in the water. We started kicking these mounds of dirt floating on top of the water only to find out they were fire ant mounds. Yeah, didn’t figure that out until they started getting in our boots
