I get 360 before the light comes on. Stock tires and 4:30 gears. Averages out to 21.5mpg usually. Gotten as high as 24 though.

Must be nice to have a gas light. When I re-pinned my cluster for my 4HI and 4LO Lights, I found out my gas light was never pinned or bulb’d to begin with.

I relied on that light for so long haha.

I rarely ever get that low on gas, my Walboro fuel pump whines enough as it is...don't want to give it any more reason to complain

That Walboro Pump is to complement your supercharger I assume?

Yes, but wasn't necessary until I added the 7th injector. The high flow Walboro pump came as part of the URD 7th kit...along with cooler spark plugs but those are necessary even without fuel mods.

so I was browsing Ebay and there's a cat in SFO area that you can get two matching SRD for $500-600.
The mounting brackets are from Wedge Engineering for $100/each.

My only issue with the mounting brackets is the location of the seat belt mounting point is stationary...

Replaced AGAIN the drivers side CV axle...

strangely, the C clip was shattered (can't tell if it was forced in or the ring clipped it). I can't prove if the shop that did the work to the seal broke it or not... not going there...
it was just sitting there between the splines of the diff and the seal in pieces...

    Photo pending...

Received the new(er) 70,000 mile engine today from LKQ. Also received the 15 piece Toyota timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and everything you need kit.

    Posting pictures.

I was surprised to see this big box on the delivery truck.

Timing belt kit came packed in these boxes.

The new(er) engine. No oil leaks.. I like the coils and wires.

I'm not sure what the orange/red paint is all about.

    I have mods
Orange paint is probably something to do with warranty since it's sprayed on the freeze plugs in the heads. That's my guess at least.

Preeetty sure I don’t even have a gas light. Not something I want to test. I’ve definitely dropped the needle below empty, we refilled my 15 gallon tank with 14.78 gallons. No light.

(This is the third cluster I’ve thrown in the truck, none of em had gas lights)

yeah I dunno if the 97s had them, or if it was only certain models back then. Could also be that the bulb is burnt out or the sensor for it in the fuel tank isn't working, but no big deal either way...no one should really need to rely on that lol

Pulled the valve cover on the replacement engine to make an inspection. Not bad for a 21-year-old engine.
