The Bucks County Courthouse falls under the jurisdiction of the Sheriff's Department.

I regularly walk my boss's dog on the vast expanse of grass in front of the courthouse , and sometimes I don't pick up after her when she poops.

That deputy shouldn't have embellished the truth in order to get that cop to write me a ticket!

My A/C issues first started in 2017. In about June of that year, I noticed the A/C was blowing ice cold on the far left vent, cold enough on the middle left vent, kinda cold on the middle right vent, and hot, humid outside air on the far right vent. The truck was almost eight years old (2010 manufactured in August of '09 and purchased in September '09; I go by the year of manufacture).

I brought my truck to my dad's mechanic, and he couldn't find a leak but charged it. The A/C worked fine for the rest of the summer.

In April 2018, I REALLY used the A/C for the first time in months while driving to a car show in New Jersey. It was unseasonably warm and the far right vent was blowing warm again.

I brought it to the same mechanic and once again he couldn't find a leak but he claims he charged it (I don't think he did).

By the time summer rolled around, the problem was obvious, but I thought there was something wrong with the airflow rather than the A/C.

I replaced the blend air door upon my return from Carlisle in August, and found that my A/C was working worse than ever.

I brought my truck to the local dealer and showed them the problem. I told basically them I didn't want the truck back until it was blowing cold across all four vents.

The next day, the dealer called me and told me my truck was a pound low on R134a. They charged it, added dye (which my mechanic claimed he'd done in 2017) and had it back to me that afternoon.

The A/C worked flawlessly as far as I was concerned, but I had to wait a couple of weeks for the leak to show up.

In September, I brought the truck back to the dealer where it ended up being a worst case scenario. The evaporator core was leaking! They took me into the shop, shined a UV light under the hood of my truck, and showed me what I can only describe as a heavy dye deposit near the condensate drain.

I was quoted almost $1,600 and my dad helped me out (I know now that we got ripped off and will NEVER use the dealer for such a big repair again). Another week or so later, when the parts were in, I brought my truck back...

So that brings us to now...

My truck has been repaired for about 7 months now, and seems to be holding a charge. The A/C is blowing cold across all four vents.

However, I might be crazy, but the A/C doesn't seem to be as hard or as powerful as it has been in the past.

When I first got the truck back after the evap core was replaced, something hadn't been hooked up correctly and I was getting almost no air out of the vents. A tech came out, finagled up under the dash, and had it working fine in no time.

Now, the A/C doesn't seem as powerful. It also seems noisier when on the highest setting, as if something is blocked, and closing the two right vents doesn't make the two left vents blow significantly harder like it used to.

Have you checked the cabin air filter?

I was using a K&N reusable air filter for a bit, but I switched back to disposable. I get them cheap with my employee discount at the dealership where I work detailing cars.

See if it blows different if you turn the temp to hot vs. cold. I would suspect that the air goes around the evaporator and through the heater core on hot. That might tell you something.

The heat works fine, but I think it blows the same on either mode. What might it tell me if it blows harder on heat mode?

If it blows heat out the dash vents more than it blows cold, that might tell you that there's not enough air flow through the evaporator. Don't know, just throwing that out there.

My supervisor has a 2010 DCSB TRDOR 4.0L/auto with 56K miles. He let me test the A/C in his truck for comparison purposes, and the difference was marginal at best.
