    Curious for those in here who have raised their idle, is a 750 rpm idle too high?

    I have been thinking about having ovtune raise mine to that from the500-550 that it likes to idle at now. Mostly for better ac performance with this warmer weather that is coming up.

    TRD S/C, UCON, 61# inj, 2.5 pulley, 7th inj, Roostfactor Y Pipe, URD exhaust, WAT Nomad Valve body, Dana 60, DK LT, JD FAB LCA mounts, custom roof rack...and way too many others.
    From previous discussions, there is an option to only raise the a/c triggered idle. So you don't have to always have a higher idle, unless you want that. Electric fan's also make a huge difference in A/c performance.

    Idle can be adjusted in P/N independently of when in Gear. You can also raise the idle further with A/C input with a multiplier.

    The A/C input mulitplier references CLT and IAT for how much or little to bump idle speed when A/C is on.

    I would probably raise both just because the truck doesn’t like idling in the summer, or maybe my fan clutch needs to be replaced.

    I don’t know that electric fans are for me. If there was a kit with everything I need I would consider it. I don’t really want to fabricate something at this time though.
