Amber or yellow fog bulbs

There's a LOT of info on this. If you run your fogs while other people are on the road, stick with halogens. Or replace the housing with one meant for LEDs so you don't throw light at other drivers by accident. But that's more than you're looking to spend atm so, halogens.

IMO fogs are only meant for up close, so they don't need to be super bright to be effective when used with your headlights. I got @kustom54lighting 's amber morimotos. Love em.

 

Exactly. You are not driving fast, so there is no need to throw light more than 100 feet or so.

The Amber's do work in white out snow conditions.

Could see nothing but white with headlights. Was forced to stop. Turned off head lights and turned on amber fogs only. I could actually tell where the road and ditched were!

This is my second set of LED fogs and I have not been disappointed yet. Plus it's Amazon so if you don't like em you can return them easily.
