@Torspd did you ever come across a rate at which the stock fuel rail becomes a bottleneck?

OK Back on topic Gentlemen. I feel like I need a catch can in my life. Seen lots of reviews and done a fair amount of research but I would like to know your thoughts on the bronze filter? I feel that if the can is small, you really should have it, but if you go with a larger can, it isn't as important. And with that, I can't seem to find any smaller ones with the bronze filter that are not full of gimmick parts like a dipstick or a level tube or that are reasonable in price. I don't want to spend $200 on a can, but if I need to, I will. What ones do you all run? And if FIGS made one, I would go that route, because FIGS! lol

 

Any catch can works. It is th mounting that's a bitch. I have mine near the battery.

 

Same. Found a hold in the fender wall behind the battery to mount to. I empty it every oil change. What is this bronze filter you speak of?

 

Did datalogs during dynos. Found fuel pump related issues. As for hp to fuel rail, I have not personally. To be honest, I just followed the empirical data by companies which have fuel rail size to max HP rating. I.E. Aeromotive.

To that note URD made 500+ on their stroker engine, on the OEM rail.

 

From my srt4 days. I had a agp catch can. And loved it. So I got one that’s for a evo. It was $140. And cuz the hoses it came with to length. Was a tight fit. Hoses were a little small. But it works great. I highly recommend checking them out.
