I guess if you don't load up with supplies for 2 weeks in the bush and don't have a half ton+ lbs in armor, you might do okay on Cs, MIGHT ....

I'm on P rated Michelins right now and it does okay though I wouldn't trust them in the rocks. Figure C's are more than enough even with some load

 

Fingers crossed the mechanic at my moms work does it for free like my timing belt and water pump.

 

Even 37s don't really look all that big on the cruisers. Maybe that's the way to go, military takeoffs are cheap then too

 

Wtf where's the fun in that?? How else you gonna learn?? He robbed you of life changing t-belt experience

 

Oh yeah I almost went that route with the 16.5" HumVee wheels. Those 37" Goodyear tires are decent and military surplus. I liked my look on 37" Pitbull Rockers. A bit more practical than the 40s lol

Be careful with those. My dad bought a set and there's grease that's a bitch to get off from the run-flats.

 

That might be kinda hard haha, only seen one other guy do it on a first gen

 

I didn't know that the military ones are run flats... That's neat. But yeah I know that shit is nasty and tire shops hate dealing with it

 

Yep it involves acquiring another first gen to install my current running gear on for a daily, and a sas for this one.

Maybe with customized Porsche 935 cv’s. But I don’t think ours will hold up to 5.29’s for long.

 

maybe its a difference in suspension or the extra weight from the RTT you are carrying, or maybe because I just finished replacing everything suspension related but LCA bushings - honestly though, i think its a smooth ride. I'm happy with the coopers so far. no complaints.

 

The rear is stiff too but that's thanks to the Expos lol. The RTT helps if anything cause without any weight back there those springs would be killer.

I'm getting my Kings revalved soon to accommodate my setup so hopefully that will help. Got a local guy that does a really good job doing rebuilds about 6 miles from me. Told him my details and he said he thinks he can rework the coilovers to make it right
