Yea, the expos with no weight are rough. But once you get 100 pounds at minimum. It's really nice

Ya I've got at least 200lbs on them so they're bearable. Still pretty stiff compared to the Dakars but it's better to have springs that are stiff and can hold weight than ones that are soft and ride on the bumpstops when weighed down

I got a work through the weekend and my parents will be here Friday with all there stuff. I should of invested in a barn lol.

 

I'm headed to the Sierras/Sequoias this weekend to camp, gas prices be damned its my birthday.

Also the wife agreed to go in on half the gas cause it's my bday lol.

 

I get to work the next two weekends and then I took the rest of the weekends in May of to chase shit

 

how much does that RTT/bed rack and gear weigh?

I figure I have 150-200lbs for the leer cap, another maybe 50-70lbs on the roof (basket + gear) and then 125 maybe 150lbs of misc items in the bed at all times... so perhaps 360-400 or so. The dakars with the AAL are doing fine so far.

Those RTTs are heavy though, right? Sorry, complete noob when it comes to RTTs and the stuff required to fit them.

 

The small smittybuilt rtt was 116lbs.

 

thats it? i thought I read some something way back when that mentioned needing a forklift to load and unload those things.

 

105lbs for my rtt, my bars are 8lbs a piece
