That is a flippac, retains the stock tailgate and a flip up rear window. No longer available new, and when they were they were ~5k$

I saw this at a show in Albuquerque, nice but pricey though.

I have an are contractors cap with double doors. Picked it up used for about $250 and we absolutely love it. We mountain bike and use it almost every single day. We use it a lot to change in and out of mtn biking gear so we climb in and out of it a lot and I can't imagine trying to get in and out dealing with a tailgate (especially trying to get out). The doors make it super easy. Built benches with hinged lids for storage under. Have a clothes line to dry sweaty gear. We even tote around a flushing toilet. Before buying a teardrop we used a blow up mattress for camping. If I can figure out how to post pics I will.

    What's the locking tailgate issue?

The tailgate locking issue is that it doesn't lock, keeping your bed contents (when covered in some fashion) unsecure. If you go to a topper and have a door, you have a cover and a locking door/tailgate.
