I have one of these guys with the diffuser option and it's pretty nicely made. Have to figure out your own mounting as seems to be the case for most catch cans.

It’s not compact but I have the large mishimoto can that I can sell. Brand new. Black/black. Has a few scratches from trying to figure out where to mount it but the can is too large for my car.

I ended up switching to their carbon can.

is it going to be one of those extra capacity filters? I've been running whatever bosch or KN is on special but I'd give the wix a go. there is a good thread on here somewhere that cuts open most brands to compare the guts.

Check with @roosfactor I think he found the vendor or manufacturer that makes it.

There are instructions on how to wire up external inputs to the pro link on HPT website.

I always hated the VQ series dipsticks!

Yes, and add it to your sig as well, so people know who they’re dealing with!

    This^^

    I had a hardbody in 88. 30 years later it’s now been converted to a dad-bod.

I might add, for you boosted folks (wait.. I’m probably the only N/A guy here..) it sure makes it a lot easier to tune with the wideband data streaming. It also will allow your MAFs to be calibrated to your aftermarket intakes. They really do alter MAF readings at higher airflow rates.

It’s expensive to add the pro feature set, no doubt. So if you’re a “DIY” guy and have stuff deleted for off-road use, you can hijack one of those 5v reference inputs to log your wideband without the pro features.

The moral of the story is, wideband data is crucial to getting things dead nuts.

Wix makes the Napa Gold filters as well. I know I can grab a Napa Gold 1516 locally for $4 CAD when I buy my oil at that location. If you have any sort of decent relationship with your local Napa often you can get the filters for a price that makes it worth while over dealing with the internet.

Have you run into problems with your fuse block where it is? That’s where I’m thinking of placing mine but wasn’t sure if I should get waterproof box.

No problems, though I wouldn't buy that one again since it doesn't seal.
