    I think you fit in the Harlingen area. Harlingen is closer to Brownsville than McAllen, and has a big hospital in which your wife can get hired easily.

    Both my folks were enlisted my dads a retiree an my grandpa was drafted also. So I came by in naturally but once in I knew I could do better as a civilian once my military career dreams didn’t pan out as I hoped.
    If I had stayed in I’d be 3 years from retirement :frusty:

    They usually give you options, and if you don't like it, they'll randomly station you anywhere. My ideal location would be the RGV sector, followed by Laredo. My best net would be Laredo, cause I went to a high school in the RGV... They won't station you in the same area as your childhood friends and family.

    Edit: I don't want to go far away from my parents. :oops:
