Gorgeous truck, makes me really want to pay someone to repair the paint damage from my fenders and go stock, looks so clean.

Thanks! I had a simple look to the truck until I lifted it and went with the bigger tires. Now I’ve installed a new front plate bumper and rear high clearance swingout bumper which required cutting the truck up so no going back to stock now

I need to get some pictures of the truck how it sits now

Thanks! I had the 4Runner Pro wheels in black and loved them but they were only 7” wide and I really wanted wider for when I went up to 285s. These are 8.5” wide which is nice. I hadn’t seen the bronze on two many BBPs truck so wasn’t sure how it would come out but love it now that it’s done

On 27APR, I had my in-cab ham radio installed. The radio is a BTEC ( Baofeng ), antenna is a Motorola TW-7500 ( no tuning required ), and the tailgate mount is from CaliRaisedLED. The install required the initial hole on the mount to be drilled out to 3/4" and left marks on the top side, so I used PlastiDip to recover the whole thing along with part of the actual antenna mount to minimize the chrome and in doing so, I unintentionally created a weather proof seal between the bed mount and antenna mount ( which is a good thing ). Unfortunately, I can't leave the antenna on 24/7 because it won't fit in the garage if I do, so it will only go on the truck when being used.

You can always run a 1/4 wave while around town. That's what I run in order to get the rig in and out of the garage. When taking longer trips, it's an easy swap.
