    I’ve used my suppressors more than I would use sliders...

    I bought a SilencerCo Omega 300 last year when they had the buy 1 get one free. The wait did suck and I was stuck in "Pending FBI" for several months.

    Check cashed by ATF on 7/5/18.
    Stamp Received and Silencer Picked Up on 4/12/19.

    Still waiting on the "free" suppressor to be shipped to my dealer so I can start this process again. SilencerCo really dropped the ball on that summer promotion.

    Sliders if you go offroading. Its cheap insurance. My suppressor has never saved me $$$ from damage.

    I used to shoot with out ear pro. Not a whole lot but now I always do. Plus at work with loud Diesel engines Definitely doesn’t help. My hearing has deteriorated and I’m still in my 20s :(

    I’m early 20’s and have very light tinnitus, very rarely did I shoot without ear pro but running chainsaws, tractors, and various loud equipment without plugs or even earbuds has taken its toll.
    On very quiet nights (no fan or AC) I can hear the bells ringing but it’s been a while since I’ve noticed it.

    Sorry you guys got it so soon. I was always a nut case about my hearing, keeping a set of plugs in my EDC since age 15 or so. Can’t imagine losing it so soon.

    Always double up on plugs and muffs too. They counter two different types of hearing sound damage.

    I wasn't advocating a lack of cans. Currently have 3 with another 2 in jail for the last few months.

    AAC Ti-Rant 9M and a Deadair Mask. Former is for a CZ Scorpion and Dan Wesson Wraith, while the latter is going on the MKIV Target and eventually a CZ 457 At-One(assuming they ever come into stock anywhere...).

    Okay I’m between night vision and a suppressor lol. Looking at the armasight spark for NV and Griffin recce 7 or Q trash panda for suppressor.

    How often would you use NV?
    I would probably go suppressor first (Recce 7 would be my pick of those two, F Q) and then save up the 3-4K for quality night vision.

    Troll around at night. There are constantly rats and raccoons messing around the chicken coup. Found some land that look “piggy”.

    Hmmm, in that case I would go with night vision or thermal, but no cheap stuff, from my research it’s not really worth it if you’re spending under $3K.
    Or start the process on a Recce 7 and then just make up the $900 difference while waiting on the stamp to clear and get both.

    I purchased my SilencerCo Omega 300 June 28, 2018 using the "Summer Kick-Off Promotion" (Buy 1, get 1 free). My "free" Octane 45 was FINALLY shipped to my dealer and arrived 7/2/2019. All paperwork was completed and mailed out 7/11/2019. Now the LONG waiting game starts. I have no illusions that it will be at least 300 days from now before i'm likely to get it back. EDIT: Totally wrong. Got my stamp and suppressor back 75 days from the check cashed date. Stamp approved the prior week.

    Paperwork mailed 7/12/2019 - certified
    Check Cashed -> 7/15/2019
    Stamp Approved -> 9/22/2019
    Suppressor in hand -> 9/28/2019

    75 Days! must be a world record.

    I got a form 4 back with a 31 day wait (cashed to approved). Examiner called me last friday. Waiting on Snail Mail to deliver. Should be able to take it home this week.
