Only because "Iron Eagle" sucked so much ass even Lou Gossett Jr. and a Queen soundtrack couldn't save it.

Feel like I'll be doing the old Southwest triangle tomorrow. Supposed to fly from Addison to Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, College Station, Fort Worth, then back to Addison. Hope the weather will be better than it was today!

Lots of severe turbulence reports going into Austin tonight. Tomorrow looks like it should be nicer though. Fingers crossed!

Only for about 38 minutes. I never left the cockpit. But I thought of you if that helps.

Lol I was in Austin yesterday too. Had fun navigating the storms on the way in and out. I’ll be there later today, but the weather today is much nicer! I’m currently sitting in the plane in Fort Worth running the air conditioning while I wait for my pax

This is very sad to hear. Both the pilot losing his life and the loss or the airplane. A few years ago, that plane had an accident, can't really remember what but it almost burnt to the ground. They restored it back to flying condition and now this happens.
Living in the area, I was lucky enough to see this flying several times.

May the pilot David Vopat, 51, of Chino, CA RIP.
