Well, it's quite a setup, I have 3 swivel bases, 2 extension booms to make them 4' riggers, 4 quick release mounting bases (which you never seem to get with used riggers because they stay with the boat)... I'm thinking $400 for everything? That would be a steal, the swivels go for $70 each, used on ebay. I can include two 10lb balls and some simple pinch releases if needed. Both have 200 feet of 200lb test stainless wire, new last year with new terminal hardware.

I will screenshot this post and send it to him because I really don’t know the pricing of that sort of stuff he does so we’ll see what happens

Wouldn't it just rub off and the exposed metal would rust anyways? That's the problem with most high end coatings, they're great... until they get compromised. A much cheaper, and more readily available option would be something like ZRC cold galv. It can be touched up, and there are a lot of high performance, marine grade coatings that are compatible with these types of primers. Once you start talking high performance coatings, this steel stuff seems cool, but there are a LOT of tried and true options out there. None of them are cheap though.

It's a cool product, I just can't see a use for it. I'd rather use rattle cans and touch up as needed.

Good choice. All the reels in the photo above are Penn Warfares. Except for one Okuma piece of crap that is just for backup. I have a St. Croix spinning rod but for trolling I love the Ugly Stick Bigwater.

Got my site booked on Aziscohos for Memorial Day weekend. Fingers crossed for good weather this year.

Nobody'd be interested in buying what you thought you read.

And once again we will be about 10 miles away from each other as the crow flies!

Nobody seems to want it for free, either.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I've used both zinc and galvanized products out of a can before with crappy results. Also most of them really do need to be top coated but this SS stuff does not. The SS is in the paint not applied over it so it won't chip off. I understand it's used a lot in off road racing (not just the video I put in here). Plus it does come in spray cans. l think this stuff is worth a try.

So I guess we can just agree to disagree

Yep Richardson. I'll be there the 22nd and leaving on that Monday of Memorial day.

We still hang out from time to time but apparently I am not good at relationships? At least that's what she says.

I knew it was a matter of time. She doesn't like to fish. So basically yes, you are right!

Mine likes to fish, when they're biting. Otherwise she loses interest fairly fast, lol. But I sympathize; I lack the focus to fish for more than an hour at a time.
