If you’re towing a lot go for a new leaf pack. I fought the factory ones forever. They junk.

I’ve heard new leaf packs don’t do ride quality any good.

All about shock choice, I have HD dakars with the old man emu shocks it was god awful but with king rear shocks better than stock.

My ride now isn’t bad, but when hooked up to my boat, the leafs look awfully strained but with no real sag in the rear. Thinking with bags, it would focus more on the axle instead of springs, still with smooth ride.
    Idk...thoughts?

I have firestone ride-rites on my 2nd gen and theyre good for leveling/towing/adjusting for loads in the bed. My only complaint is that when they're aired up, they are a bit bouncy. Great though if you want to keep stock ride height and only tow every once in a while

Yes with bags you’ll be able to level it out an any rig I’ve rode in with bags was very pleasant. If you plan on lifting it more than just level a leaf pack replacement would be ideal however.

Agreed, I’m pretty satisfied with ride height.

Well you could get some sliders with fill plates set at 0 degrees so they would be flat to help them out :D
There is a company called 4xinnovations who makes weld on sliders really affordable compared to other vendors an their products are beefy.

Lucky me for letting the wife run here quick errands before I took the car. Sat down to an email coming in that my Valero card got skimmed, and someone in North Austin/Round Rock is filling up a fleet of thirsty diesels to the tune of over $500 yesterday and today. Add "visit Police Station" to the errand list! The card is two weeks old. Past two months, replaced wife's card once, and mine twice - though no transactions were reported. Another new one on the way. And off I go, finally.

    Got no nieces and nephews.
Claiming that I like more interior room, really just preventing the SIL from being able to ride along. :lalala: I'm such an ass. :drevil:
