No real experience with the TRDPro Fox shocks @*TRD* could tell you more than me.. but they do look like the fox 2.5 IFPs to me which are great. But the pros do not offer any adjustability. The adjustability offered from the aftermarket fox/king 2.5s (dampening and ride height) are better suited for my needs.

    Hope that helps

    Good luck

Thought I'd share my experience with installing the rear adjustable "-117s". Should be such an easy install. Jack up, remove tire, remove top/bottom bolts, reinstall new ones. I installed the fronts w/ no problems. However, when working on the rears I couldn't get the rubber sleeve and bushing to fit in the lower shock mounts for the life of me. I called my friend at Fox in SD and he said to bend the shock mounts to get it to fit. I figure I'd rather shave down the rubber sleeve than bend the shock mounts on a new truck. Pics of the squished rubber mount below. Sad I scratched up the new 2.0s. :annoyed:

Not sure how much weight you have up front. I have front and transmission steel skids, sliders, and a 27f battery and have 1/2” threads showing on passenger and about 1” on driver. Sitting at 23 1/2” from center hub to bottom of fender. I’m most likely swapping them out for 14” 600 springs next month since The ride feels too firm when I hit a pot hole or sewer cap. Good luck!

I just had 14" 600 lb coils put on to replace my 650 lb coils, ride quality is noticeably better. If anyone is on the fence, go with the lightest spring rate you can get away with. With the 650 lb springs I had about 1/2" of threads showing on the collar with sliders, hidden winch and mount, and heavier battery.

Honestly I would go with 14” 600 springs unless you’re adding a full steel bumper and winch soon.

I wouldn’t say to soon.. but soon lol.. just added a HC REAR. The 650’s do not fill to stiff for me.

How much lift do you have up front? What’s your measurement from center hub to bottom of fender?

Mine did the same thing. It’s like the bushing is a hair too wide. As much as I hate to do it, I ended up just trimming the excess.

I've had the 14" 650 on my truck for almost a year now. The ride is firm and its never really bothered me ,but all this talk lately of how smooth the 600s ride is making me want to give them a try.
I have 2.5 up front and 2.0 in the rear with full skids, sliders, slime line , and a winch.

I'm thinking of having the same setup. What is your lift height currently? How much preload do you have it set to?(# threads)

    F- 23 3/4, R- 24 . Very little preload, just a couple of threads.

Great, thanks for the info! Based on that, I'm leaning toward 14" X 600 lb springs when I add armor.

I don’t know if it’ll be the same part. But if they have one for the 2.0 more than likely they will have em for the 2.5
