Pretty good list, maybe just gusseted spindles. Points where limit straps attach to the frame. (Kartek or trailgear).
    And bumps stops.
Honestly up front I spent more time with bracing and gussets than my LT kit.
    Spindle gussets
    Shock tower gussets
    Motor mount gussets
    Shock tower bracing(engine hoop)
    Cam tabs (are a must)
That’s all I can think of right meow.
I spent a lot of time on the truck welding all that shit in and you will never see it.
    People just see the kit.

My Total Chaos kit turns 10 this year and trust me, I beat the crap out of it and don’t have issues. Yes, there is maintenance but that’s what will keep it going another 10 years. Do it once, tune it two or three times and enjoy the f out of it!

For the guys that are running a fuel cell, what did you do with the line that runs from the Purge VSV (connects to intake and pulls fumes to burn from charcoal canister)? Did your truck run different without it? Is it worth building into new set up?

Arms can't be swapped. LCA bolts are different sizes. Fronts are bigger than the rear.

    If you move the sh
no and no, your 8”CO’s will not work with a TC +2 kit you’ll have to go to a 3.5 kit

8" works with the AllPro +2 Kit, the latest version. But not with the original +2 version.

Exactly, was cool to find this out from TC themselves that they designed their kits with this in mind in the event folks wanted to swap kits. The LCA has the difference developed to accomodate this.

You guys can run whatever 8” coilovers you want if you place your own shock tabs.

Nobody will want to cut correctly placed tabs and move them for this , nor do most know where to set them. Most kits dont come bare without tabs too. Just sayin

While this is true, most people trying to do this to save a few hundred dollars will spend a bunch of time trying to sort it out and will get mixed results. The one thing hopefully people are starting to see is, if you cut corners or try to save a few hundred dollars by using stuff that isn’t properly spec’d or was made by a sub par company you pay far more in your time investment and/or money spent fixing or paying people to fix the mess it has created.

Why couldnt you? With everything i measured you could, but youd lose travel in the droop unless you switched to a longer rod end.

I had 25.5 inches at droop before bind and 19.75 inches at bump. Those were the numbers for shock travel.

The design of the lower arms between the two versions are totally different. Version 1 stroke length is 7-5/8". You could take the extra spacer out and strap it no problem.

J, let’s be very specific here - the TC spec’d CO for both kits is a standard 8” CO ? and the same configuration that he already has on his truck now ?

I had this conversation with TC myself, sent them pics of my 8’s and was told it would not work with their +2 kit by TC.

So your saying Solo is a sub par company ? I have the exact same kit as the person stirring this pot and I have none of the same problems...so is it Solo...or the end user ? I’m going to repeat what I said earlier - he bought a used kit with missing pieces, mixed in different brand bits, bought the wrong spec’d CO for a 4x4 and is not using the correct cv boots...how is that the kits fault ? seriously what am I missing here ?
