If someone could let me know of a website or video they know of, that would help me know the steps to remove a body kit, that would be awesome and much appreciated. I want to try to do it myself, but if someone thinks it is best for a professional to do it, please do let me know. Thank you

That coil doesn't look like it supposed to fit on that shock

Remove the body lift (you may need to purchase factory length body mounts if they are completely missing which it looks like they are), and remove that lift. I'm not sure if there are any "good" 5 lug lift struts but you would be better off going back to factory if you can't find any good options. Those coils are jacked. They aren't supposed to be shifting and buckling like that. They need to be centered around the shock.

Okay. Thank you so much. I am not very educated, obviously, in suspension so could someone let me know what to look up exactly to replace the parts that need to be replaced. I am in college so I have to save up for things in advanced.

One more thing, could you send a pic of the rear suspension, its spring under so I'm doubting they spent money on new springs but maybe, just want an idea if there's anything more than the body lift in the rear

Hey Jake, Where do you live? A lot of times if you post in your regional TW thread asking for some help some one will be there to lend a hand.

By the way, I purchased new shocks for the rear a while back. And I will be living in Moab, Utah.

Looks stock back there, so what I suggest since everything is going to stock height once the lift is removed, look on craigslist for a set of stock coils and shocks for the front

I didn't watch it, just use common sense to see if what he's doing is a good idea

Okay so leave the rear suspension alone then?

Yes, just remove the body lift for the rear and that should be good to go, not sure if you'll need stock length bolts for that, because the bolts used for the body lift are going to be quite a bit longer, you can probably just cut them down though

From the looks of it, yes.

You sort of need to "reset' everything back to stock before you go tinkering again. That's the challenge when buying used vehicles that others have modified. Nothing to be concerned about though. This is a good opportunity to learn a few things! It's good to see you willing to get your hands dirty.

For the sake of argument I would suggest buying new OE bolts. Without understanding/feeling/knowing what cross threading a bolt is like, there is a high probability of that with cut down bolts.
