I try to run only fuel through my fuel systems, they seem to like that. What exactly are you treating your fuel for, is it mis-behaving? I can recommend a real injector cleaner that you could pour in the tank, but if you aren't having injector problems I'm not sure why you'd waste the money.

BG 44K is the only one of those miracle in a can products I trust to do anything, and usually I just pour it in a cylinder with a hose attached to pressurize it and blast it through injectors to get them working again. Seafoam was designed for outboard motors (most notably two strokes to degum carbs) and unless you have a huge vendetta against working catalytic converters I'd advise against it.

I initially started trying it because of my pinging issues even after the 7th install, I thought it couldn't hurt to try and run a cleaner through the fuel system to maybe help the injectors if they were a bit dirty. After one road trip where I used Seafoam in every tank along the way, I might be crazy but I swear I could tell a big difference in that the pinging subsided quite a bit afterward. After that I figured on long road trips I would try and continue the practice.

I know the proper way to clean the injectors would be to take them off and have them cleaned but I don't think they're that bad, but for good measure maybe I'll do that someday. But if you know of a good product to run through the system I'd love to check it out

If it solved pinging I'd imagine that is more due to cleaning carbon deposits off than because of cleaning an injector, really injectors don't get that messy nowadays with all the filter elements. Like I said if you're sure it's injector related, well clean em for real because it would have to be a pretty bad blockage to cause regular pinging. But BG 44K is a good fuel system cleaner for the DIY guy

Cool I'll check it out. Yeah maybe it's just carbon buildup over the years, this truck did sit a lot before I bought it too so who knows. I've run Seafoam through the intake before but not really something I want to do often

Seafoam through the intake is great for cleaning carbon deposits, but so are other things, even water does a pretty good job (be careful as with seafoam). But seafoam is hard on the emissions shit in the exhaust both O2 sensors and cats hate oily shit, wipes em out

Did they ever throw your truck on the frame rack to see if it's straight still?

Lawn mower gas gets sta-bil. I dont let my truck sit long enough to need fuel stabalizer. And the gas companies add all sorts of stuff into it aswell, which makes fuel treatments pretty much obsolete.
