    Damn man.

I picked up some potatoe salad, slaw, chips, plates, cutlery, paper towels today for sat night. That just seems so wimpy compared to what you are doing.

@HrBrad8 I decided to get a knockoff Yeti today, I went with the Lifetime one seems ok the Ozark seemed nicer but was also 30 bucks more. I'll pick you up some silver bullets since you shared one with me at MM

I have a Ozark Trail 52 and a Lifetime 55. The Ozark handily beats the Lifetime when it comes to keeping ice. For day trips or weekends either one should be fine, though. Debating on forking out the dollar bills for a Yeti in the near future for summer time. That Ozark must have been on sale. They are usually almost $80 or $90 bucks more than the Lifetime.

I'm thinking about the Tundra 65 or 75. The 52 qt cooler is almost enough for food, water, and beer for a long weekend, but not quite.

Still gotta remember to buy it and put it in the cooler, which I don't always. :bananadead: Plus I keep the cooler in the truck all the time with water bottles and Mt Dews in it.

I know, I'm not good at making slaw or potato salad nor did I have the time really to do so.
Yeah I got the lifetime 55 as long as it does better than my cheap Coleman's I'll be happy. 97 compared to 137
I don't think I'd ever need one that big really, I'd rather just take one smaller one for the drinks and keep the food back at camp.

Gotta make sure to take enough for four of us. Overnight is no big deal, but when we do long weekends need mo room for mo stuff, plus the food is typically perishable.

One thing that I typically do if we are cooking more than we are here is premake/prepare as much as I can so that there is little mess and less packaging to deal with. Also I try and take stuff that doesn't require a cooler or just one ingredient requires a cooler. Makes life a lot easier camping and more time to relax and enjoy than cook and clean.

I guess part of the camping experience for us is cooking over the open fire. I'm still not quite sure WTF we are going to do for food this outing, though, and I dunno how to cook a damn salad over a campfire!
