Inverter?

 

I have a power supply that works on 12 volts. It even supports the unit with a humidifier. It can be done. I just don't have the money for what I want.

It could run it for a few nights, and with a solar cell, indefinitely!

 

I've thought of that, but it looks like I need to clean up my current wiring, add some type of deep-cycle draw source, and a way to recharge it. Dual battery plus solar = money. So I'll suffer with shit sleep till then lol

 

I'm already running additional accessories, so I need a more reliable deep charge setup

And that is the issue. I can run my c-pap from a 12v source, but can't maintain that over a several night stay. The link I presented, could do that, but I simply can't afford such a thin. If I had a dual batter setup letting one battery handle it for the night, and recharge during the day, I'd be O.K., but I don't have even that.

 

How many nights are running it before having power again? And what is the current draw of your cpap

Yo, I snapped like 8 bolts, had to wait for the penetrating oil, un-bolt stuff by hand and plan out the easiest way to be accomplished. All of this before I get the instructions. I lost 11 bolts in the process.

I might move to a cool-guy setup where I can run my c-pap and camp on the truck, but like you said, it costs money.

 

That's not camping! I'm a BoyScout. I need to find resolutions to what I have do deal with. Not spend money on a hotel!

I was supposed to do the dual battery setup after I got my system because my amps draw too much power for my battery

 

I need to dive into that. I don't have those specs, yet. I know it's continual and the makes a rechargeable setup, so I'm trying to figure out the best way

 

Wire in a capacitor for when the bass drops. It's easier on your charging system and you lol

 

I'm the same way just give me a sleeping bag and I'll sleep on the ground but when you got wife and kids they got to be comfortable

 

Understood all too well. Been there! But at this point, I'm a single fat dude that needs a C-PAP. And a way to power it for a 3 night stay. Sleeping without it is O.K., but...not ideal.

 

Well if there's campgrounds most likely there's a water hookup in the electric

When I BMX raced with my daughter we will go to State races in Midland Pearland and DeSoto and if I was by myself then I would just sleep in the bed of my truck cuz she could stay there but since my daughter and wife would always tag along I had always get a hotel and it started getting pricey
