I drove the mt and at after driving a 2nd gen for a decade and I thought the mt highlighted the power loss from the 4 liter to the 3.5. Just felt like I couldn’t get the truck going in lower gears. Plus I can’t imagine eating a sloppy burrito with the kids yelling in the back while I cut a 3 point turn in traffic with the mt. Mts are fun for a minute...then reality sets in. Mt enthusiasts that I know don’t love easy clutches and long gears so the guys that say this trans is fun have me wondering...

Ha Ha, but reading your post, you must live in a city - CA if I had to guess?

A MT as a 2nd or 3rd vehicle is great, like 1-2x a month on a Sunday to the hardware store or nursery. But, a daily driver in NE traffic, no way.

    lol, this thread is:

40% people saying manuals suck in traffic

40% people letting everyone know they can drive a stick

    10% filler

    10% actual advice to OP

Great, now we are getting somewhere. Typical TW threads demand at least 25% filler
