UPDATE:

Once @DSIM gets done with all of his testing and he is ready to release, I will be releasing another package called the DSIM Remote Tailgate Opener. It will include more detail at that time and it with go along with my current PNP Harness & Tailgate Lock with BNL Bracket & Rod. It will be another tag along just like the BNL Bracket & Rod. @tacodnr is already working on a second mounting location for another BNL Bracket & Rod or the possibility of stacking two Actuators on top of each other on the current BNL Bracket & Rod. Everything will be included in this thread as it all ties together through the PNP Harness, as well as the Integrated Harness. However, there will be some parts that you will need to purchase through @DSIM. He will mention the location at a later time when these are ready for release. I will also make an announcement on here where you will be able to purchase everything. However, get ready people!!!

P.S. If you have already purchased PNP Harnesses and want the option of the New Tailgate Opener, I will have options available. Just like if you are someone that doesn’t want this option and just wants to stick to the old options and keep it simple, that option is still available so don’t worry.

Well I've been lurking this thread long enough and kept debating if this was something I needed. Am I that lazy I can't just lock the tailgate with the key, I guess so...Money and PM sent.

Once you do it, you'll wonder why you waited so long. I had debated and debated with myself about it, and when @KTJO 4x4 came up with the full PNP, I leapt on it. Prepare to spend a couple hours, and then you'll marvel at how much cooler your taco is compared to most of them out there, that you don't have to get the key out of the fob every time you want to lock or unlock the tailgate. It really is a convenience item that should've been included with the truck from the factory.

You'll be thanking yourself rather soon, I predict.

 

Glad I saw the new bracket I was going to finish my install , now I’ll wait for the bracket so no drilling. Awesome set up

 

I'm sure I will. Like you said, I'm surprised it wasn't included from the factory. Seems like many other trucks have that already.

i still event installed the plug and play kit you sent me a month ago, and now you make a no drill bracket?! i need this please!!! is there a list to be added onto or can i get one?
