You already have one. We're waiting for all of you to hang yourselves on the side of a trail someday.
edit: If that's offensive, i apoligize just trolling.

3rd gen overlanding suicides would hit the TW community hard... how long would hypothermia suicide by $1,200 freezer/fridge take, and is there a headliner patch for that?

Jesus. Y'all need him. First a truck that won't tow a boat. Then an incoherent OP. Then the typical TW shit posting and BS. Now we are on to suicides. And if you are successful in your demise you get a patch and a new 3rd gen posthumously. I can't wait till Friday. Should be a doozy.

With all the emphasis on mental health thesedays if this thread saves the life of one 3rd gener. it will be worth wading through all the shitposts.
On the other hand the OP said we were assholes so maybe he isn't the one.

52 inch light bar would have not let this happen in the first place.

    Let's break this down

I did try to help the OP (was one of the few) even though I'm proud of my asshole status.

Like my 3rd gen so I'm not suicidal.

Speaking of mental health, well you don't want my thoughts on that subject. See my asshole status for hints.

Btw how's your frame rot? Suicidal yet?

Not about my frame. I'm having ED. Biggest danger of keeping a truck this long.

Take solace in the fact that mods for your rot gen Tacoma will always cost less than a woman, any woman.

Oh, is that what leads to mods? I always wondered. Makes sense.

Why did you join the forum to tell us you're ditching the truck?

    Oh cool. Take it easy.

Actually anything shy of a Ferrari F40 costs less than a woman. Even then depending on how the divorce goes, even a rare Ferrari might cost less. Be more fun at least, the Ferrari that is, not the nagging, honey I have a headache, screaming kids, honeydo list, eventual divorce nonsense.

Looks like the OP has larger than stock tires based onhis avatar which could significantly reduce power. I made a similar mistake back in 1983. I had just bought a cheap 2wd Chevy truck with the small I6 engine and 3 on the tree. It was 250 CI IIRC. Gear ratio was about 3:1, maybe less. I put 31" tires on it and had to do the same thing to get it out of an uncles very steep driveway. The engine just died the 1st 2 tries. I finally backed up as far as possible and got a running start and barely made it to the top.

And 4X4 would have been a HUGE help. Low range provides almost 3:1 gear reduction.
