These springs are awesome. They are variable rate, so I can actually compress part of them by hand.

How much more droop does that give? I haven't looked into the LT kits because kdss.

The open length of the OME is 603 mm (23.74")
The open length of the dobinsons is 730mm (28.74")

    So 5" more downtravel.

What about the shocks and arms I would suspect one or both of them would end up being your limiting factor.

I think it's a mixture of both. I asked multiples times if limit straps were needed/required and they said unless I'm doing high speed stuff, then I wont need them. I'm gonna test it out without the springs to make sure I dont contact the fuel tank skid. The arms will be here tomorrow, so I'll be doing it all at once.

I gotta figure out what's limiting some droop on my set up I have a sneaky suspicion it's the shocks I may need to go longer . Bump is set up perfect I can't believe we hit the nail on the head first go round with that. I've got room to go to 16" shocks and not have to hack the bed up if need be.

That's crazy. I'd have to completely change the geometry of my rear end to get 16" shocks under there. I'm worried that the brake lines wont be quite long enough. I went with +4 because that's what they suggested, but we'll see. It'll be interesting to see how this all comes together once its done.

I haven't looked under a T4R much but it would be cool if someone came up with long arms and relocations like the Jeeps. Then you could get some of the geometry back from the lift and gain quite a bit more articulation. I think you said the gas tank and some other stuff is in the way.

Without moving the fuel tank, I would have to do this (stolen from RSG's SAS build)
    IMG_8825-e1493481999528.jpg
It moves the upper arms to the rear so that they dont contact the fuel tank.

What's funny is people told me it couldn't be done including manufacturers of said parts I put on. Well it may just end up happening. It'll be sweet if it does I think I'll be the only one or first to do so. I've been trying to find anyone who has in the past but there is no internet proof so far.

Weird wonder how it handles. There may be some issues with the IC (instant centers) for accel and decel causing weird reactions to the front end. Just looking at it and not seeing their math or angles of the bars But I think I see a way to do it otherwise need to see a pic of how much realestate the fuel tank takes up. Would require a panhard bar though and coilovers possibly

Itll be interesting to see if you can make it work.
This is the final result of their rear end.

Oh I wasn't talking about the way it flexes I was talking some other more dynamic forces and how they may lift the rear or front of a vehicle under accel or nose dive it under decel. Sorry that was probably wayyyy over the head. Plus they went triangulated which can possibly yield more flex than a suspension with a panhard bar. But longer arms and good geometry with a more parallel linked suspension can still get a lot of flex.

That looks pretty good though it looks like the front is a tad more flexy than the rear in that pic.
