I don’t get offended easily. Come to think of it, I don’t really get offended ever. I hate lazy millennials and tide eating dabbing gen zingers all the same.

Harsh. A man lost his job over a tire rotation.. hope he doesn’t have a family to feed. I understand you paid for the service but it’s not like a rotation cost a lot

I would say this was not the first complaint on this guy. It takes more than that to fire a good employee.
After this last ordeal where they scratched the wheel on our Rav4, I will request they do not rotate my tires on the truck or the Rav4 anymore.

Weird. It seems the only people in NY who aren’t “slow” are Tacoma owners.

Understand that. Also believe I would have stepped up and said look not trying to cost this man his job just want what I paid for. But it this was an ongoing problem with said employee then yes he would have to go.

Don’t see any issue here...he was paying for a service and there service wasn’t performed. That’s fraud. Guarantee that if he was caught multiple times that tire rotations weren’t the only thing he was doing this on.

And a 4Runner. When I retire and have money, I’ll be getting a land cruiser.

No matter if you take the truck or get in something else, if that guy still works there I would request him for future services. You can bet he is going to be extra careful on every job he touches for a long time from now.

Well as a dad who works two jobs to provide for his family I hate to see a family or child to go without. I fully understand he paid for the service and didn’t get it which is fraud. But I would be the better man and step up and tell them I don’t want the man to lose his job over this. If he was caught doing this multiple times than I understand letting him go. Sometimes gotta the the bigger man and let things go. Not like it cost 500$ for a rotation.

And I repeat. I understand not doing the service is fraud. Just can’t believe somebody would sit back and let a man lose his job over a 25$ rotation. Sure you felt good watching an employee pack his bags over a damn rotation. That’s pathetic

This is from my friend who’s family owns an auto shop: “Insurance would cover it. We have a two million dollar policy. But Toyota would give you a new truck. Call Toyota Corporate and fight the fight for a new truck. They have crazy insurance. If it was lift failure, the lift company gets involved. If it was user error the dealership pays for it and the idiot gets fired.”

Another friend who sells VW says “go straight to the GM.”

They have huge insurance policies. Go get a new truck.
