Maybe out of my section on this forum. But it blows my mind somebody would watch a man pack his bags over not getting his 25$ rotation. Maybe I’m a nice guy maybe I’m not. But at the end of the day I can eat 25$ before I watch a man lose his job over it. Might be a single dad feeding 3 kids. Never know what somebody is going through or the life they live. 25$ could put his kids on the street

Ask for a good independent shop to inspect the body mounts and see if they are willing to do a cab leak test. There could be a possiblity that some stress fracture are by the body mounts/firewall. That could lead to water or outside stuff not being properly shield and find there way to places you do not want. That is if you wish to keep the truck.

If it was my choice, I wouldn’t fire him because your post is starting to make me cry a little. I knew a man once who worked hard and sacrificed so much for his son. RIP Kyle Reese (lol my bad)

Just remember, it’s a slippery slope. While I could let a rotation slide if it was my vehicle, if you change the situation to “sex trafficker” instead of “tire rotator”, things get mad real.

Sex trafficker just trying to feed his kids.

He’s also trying to feed your kids. They sell for more when they’re fed.

Understandable. I’m 24 working two Jobs to provide for my 3 year old and my wife. Wouldn’t have it any other way. I can let a rotation slide. Maybe the other guy is to much of a tight ass to let it go. Who knows

The thing is, the "what it's" go both ways. What if he was a scum bag? What if he wasn't? All u can do is be honest and let the crumbs fall where they may.

Don’t know if anyone said this already but I would check the back of the cab and the front of your bed and cap to make sure they didn’t meet and cause damage when the rear of the truck hit the ground. It’s VERY common for the cab and bed to hit each other when the rear of a truck takes a hit since the space between the rear most cab mount and the front most bed mount is the most flexible part of the frame. The body and bed limit the flexibility of the frame kinda like bolting a girdle to the bottom of an engine block to strengthen it. The section in the middle has no body structure to keep it from bending there. I fix ALOT of damage like that when a truck that was rear ended comes into my work. May be why your cap is pushed back, the truck most likely bowed in the middle from the force of the impact to the rear and the top of the cab pushed against the stop of your cap and shoved it back.

Trees and trails, mustaches that rival even the most majestic of Williamsburg. The only pee you will catch scent of is the pee that you leave against a mountainside.

You’ll lose a lot of blood on account of all the mosquitos but I know a blood guy

As far as I'm concerned, no one should give a flying-two-shits-rats-ass about someone losing their job due to dishonesty. If he had done the right thing in the first place, he wouldn't have to worry about feeding his family. And I would venture to guess that it probably wasn't the first offense he commited to be fired like that.

You’re right. Making a mistake is acceptable. You learn, you move on. But cheating the customer because your character is bad. That’s on you. If he really cared about his family and their needs, probably wouldn’t have been cutting corners at work.

But what do I know. I’m just an asshole on the internet
