jeez - absolutely crazy. can't begin to even imagine how dazed that was coming away from it. So how did you get it back home to AZ? The second pic has a sign for UT. Thumbs up for not losing your shit (composure) - could've ended much worse I imagine if you did what 90% of the rest of the world does and just freaked out.

At this time I was living in Eastern Washington and we were wheeling in Eastern Oregon. This was the first day of the trip so after the group helped put a tire on humpty dumpty we wheeled for two more days and I drove it 600mi home all in that condition haha.

Would've been a hell of a story for the highway patrol stopping you on the way home to AZ... thx again for the recap. Like I said, remember seeing pictures in one of the threads some time back. Also remember jko's little tumble - at least I think it was him.

That’s pretty funny, they just threw a normal cabover camper for your standard pickup truck on that.

@Crodell6 - not sure if you already have a couple but might want to invest in a good air cleaner since we'll be entering fire season again soon. Better to have one and not need it than... while our state burns up because some asshat lit off a few bottle rockets or tossed a smoke out the window.

During the last one which put the bay area with the worst air quality in the f-ing world, I had picked up an extra cleaner (https://www.costco.com/Winix-C535-Air-Cleaner-with-PlasmaWave-Technology.product.100280290.html) at Costco just as the fires were breaking out. Already had 2 BlueAir cleaners (https://www.costco.com/BlueAir-Clas...-HEPASilent-Technology.product.100474644.html) I picked up a few years ago when the kid was born. When the air went to shit outside, the kid was breathing perfectly good air indoors. That was hell, we locked down for a little over a week but I didn't want him breathing that crap. They're expensive but I wanted him breathing clean air.

Hell, I had even ordered a meter off Amazon just to 'know'. Unlike the news reports and air quality sites which reported over numbers averaged over a time period, the meter was giving me real-time numbers. It was beyond bad. Inside normal but outside it was midday in New Delhi or China. :puke:

Don't think you had it as bad down there in SoCal but it was still pretty crappy.
