I am a DCLB and am debating about my front bumper. I have always loved an ARB but I am worried about losing even more approach angle which is precious at me length.

Who has an aftermarket front bumper on a DCLB and wants to share a picture with me?

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Curious why you feel a LB would have any different approach angle than a SB.

They’re both the same front end. Aftermarket bumpers, for the most part, have much better approach angles than stock. Most are sleeker and slimmer as far as sticking out. The stock bumper hangs out much lower. The arb is one of the thicker ones though, so it may differ by brand.

Quick photo edits, but you get the idea.

I think I didnt express myself well. I really meant that I wasnt sure about increasing my overall length with the way the ARB sticks out so far whereas a different style like @ScroopyNoopers doesnt have that effect.

I also kind of wondered how a trail limo would look with an aftermarket bumper just in general but seeing the pictures that yall have posted have erased my doubts!

I guess there always has to be one guy that asks if you used the search function. It wouldnt be TW without somebody asking it. Yes, I did.

The ARB does stick out a bit further, but because it sits higher related to the frame, the approach angle is actually improved over stock.
The real downside to this bumper is it's weight. 170 lbs without the winch. 220 with it (warn M8000 synthetic)
I run 886 OME springs and ended up putting in a 1/4" spacer on top to level out with the OME Dakar HD rear springs.

Good info. I have always loved those bumpers but there are a few trails in mind where approach angle isnt exactly the issue, its more of just a pure length issue. Also, I think about a few ledges in Moab that I already have to hit caddy cornered and adding ano extra 8" or so of nose length would make it that much harder still.

I love your truck though man!
