HP Tuners for 2005-2015

You can get a mini vci cable on eBay pretty cheap. It works for the comfort features. You can’t flash the ecu with it but it can do every thing else.

 

My local dealer did it for free when I was getting my free maintenance oil changes.

 

That’s, ummm, perfect. Yeah. That’s the ticket. Add more weight.

I don't think it can as it doesn't talk to the right modules that control that.
Set trip mileage counter to overall mileage. Turn truck off. Turn key to run without starting it. Hold trip reset button for 12 seconds, while holding the button click your seatbelt. Odometer should display "beep on" click your trip reset button again and it should say "beep off" turn key to off and your seat belt chime should be disabled.

 

I've purchased quite a few things from there, for my boosted xb I built. They even have "catalytic test pipes" that can be used in place of catalytic converters... not that I would ever use one or have any clue as to why anyone would want to....

 

When you’re logging and you hit the space bar to stop and start, does the program start over or just start logging again from where you were? It’s hard to save a little file when you’re driving.

 

Mine will save the file when you hit space bar to pause or stop. I just keep it running the whole time during trips. I still need to add in the important parameters. I was just logging the basic default setup.

 

I want to capture a specific event and I might want to do it a few times. I want it to pick up again from where I stopped logging.

 

I dont know if there is a "pause" button. Every time I hit the space bar to stop it, that current log is saved. Space bar again starts a new log. There may be a way to pause/unpause without starting a new log, but I haven't experimented to find out.

 

There is a reason I do almost everything on a iPad. Been looking at this for an hour.

At least it happened now and didn’t try and do it in the middle of a flash. If I can get this stupid thing working I’ll be trying out @JustDSM NA tune today but no dyno numbers until May 9th.

 

My experience had been to record the time hacks alone then go back and let at those moments in time on the overall recording. There may be an easier way to do the short burst but my hands are full and sometimes I feel more dangerous than a PMSing, pissed off teenage girl trying to apply makeup while crying and crushing Taco Bell all at the same time with my laptop behind the wheel.

Same thing worked on mine, even turns off the passenger side so I can put my backpack over there lol.

 

Thats the only reason im doing it. My gf doesnt like wearing hers or the dog likes to sit up there.
