I feel kinda bad. I just had Toyota replace my battery before I shipped it out of Texas. It’s like 5 months old.

I have three other rides that will all take a 24f. I'll put the 34r I was using in my 240 or the 4Runner. Couldn't pass up the deal I got on the bluetop...

The blue top is 400 dollars here. I’m sure you got it way cheaper.

I would DEFINITELY suggest the light gray 31M in this case.

    Thanks @Sociopenguin !

I found a place called BigTimeBattery online and they have great deals on Optimas. I bought two a year ago, and just installed a third last week. (I have one Yellow top under hood, and two blue tops for house batteries, all size 27). I was slightly concerned when I first bought from them, but it was cheapest, by quite a lot so i went for it.

It's a common bar for my accessories to hook up to. Didn't want a bunch of cables all to one spot.
I had it all setup before I got the 31M, was running a AGM 34R....

Anyone know the model number of the light grey one? Will it fit in my 3rd gen? I’m gonna go pick it up. Thanks.

I'm basing that on your original picture showing it to have 75 amp hours.

Per @Sociopenguin it does fit. The pic he supplied is under the hood of a 3rd gen.

Thanks again for the info guys.

One more thing, what do I do with my old battery? Toyota replaced it 5 months ago. Can I save it for a rainy day or do they go bad when not in use ?

Why did you replace it if it was still good? I assumed you needed a replacement since yours died??

You can keep it, you should just charge it every few months to make sure it stays fully charged to avoid damage (losing capacity, etc).

Toyota changed it because it died.

I want the blue top because I run a lot of led lights.

I had a deep cycle yellow top in my pathfinder and it died sooner than the interstate.
I found it to be a waste of money.

The one sure advantage of agm batteries is they can be placed in any position.
