If it makes you feel any better, an hour with a brass and steel brush will clean it right up

 

My tailgate liner has spilt its last beer, coffee or smoothie! I had some plywood, stain and clearcoat already in the garage. The plan was to make a smooth work surface for camping, tailgating ...etc. I just put it right over top of the existing oem plastic liner used the same bolt pattern with longer screws for 8 of them. When I am hauling heavy nasty stuff off it comes.

 

Pressure washed the bed of my truck for the first time in probably 4 years, then repacked stuff so it didn't fly around when driving.

 

After l added the fancy billet shift knob, l noticed the stick looked a little spindly. Cut & fitted a piece of stainless tubing to slip over it to beef it up a little.

 

This is great - I have been thinking about doing something like this.

 

I know you said you're busy and all...but I need deets on the way you mounted your firestik. I have yet to do mine

Did you run a separate ground wire, or grind off the powdercoat? Guess you'll know for sure once you tune it, but figured I'd ask

 

Man thats crappy, it sucks the grounds crew wasnt more careful, or at least they should have said they damaged it, and contacted you guus to let you know it was damaged.

 

Do you like your chainsaw? I've been thinking of getting a battery powered one for ATV trips up on the mountain.

 

Just been busy with mods lol. I grinded the mount a bit for grounding, I believe it’ll be ok once it’s time to tune it but we will see.
Also ran the coax behind the tail light and through an existing grommet on the back of the cab so it’s water tight

That’s a great way to use the case and free up my CaliRaised Molle panels in the bed for other gear!

@ovrlndkull I just tried installing mine, where does your cable fit when closed??? I put mine to the driver side of the ram and it barely fits, but the problem I found is that it jams my tailgate to the passenger side making it rub on the passenger bedside. Do you have this issue?
