Morning everyone, had a tough time this morning. I watched my truck leave the driveway. Wife needs her tires rotated and the brush in the bed dropped off so she’s in the taco today. That’s a sexy truck but I hate to see it moving without me.

Always a weird feeling watching someone else play with your toys.
On the bright side if you have an exhaust, you finally get to hear you truck the way the rest of the world does lol

Morning Will, have you made a decision yet?

Is there a DTD near by you can go to?

Ahhh, never heard that before but then again, they are not around here so I can't speak from experience, and trust you, your judgement.

I think you are going to super happy with those!!! Ultimately I want to have a off road/winter set and with some cheap wheels and will move my Ridge Grapplers to them, and the Terra Grapplers or something like them will be moved to my Copper Ray 10s for all other driving.

I see those tires on a lot of vehicles here.

That blows!!! Maybe you should get that fixed while you're getting new tires?

Dude you going to do the basic upgraded kit that fits a 16 or the big brake kit that requires a 17?
Might as well go big brakes, 17s and 34s.

    Then supercharger...

I’m running terra g2s now, love them! Quiet, wear great, and last forever.
I’m gonna get a lil more aggressive next round though

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Air bags are good to retain the stock suspension, but need the extra load carrying with heavy loads and towing. You'll need on board air to take full advantage of the airbags which that all can be expensive. Another option is helper springs to avoid having the rear lifted when to hauling.

I've read mixed reviews on the G2's that I don't put much faith into. Some guys say they aren't as quiet. However, if you look online all the other ratings for wear, comfort, traction, etc. ae through the roof.

This is why it's so hard to trust online tire reviews.

Well I can testify to most of that.
I have 32,000 miles on mine and still no noise to speak of. Still great traction, and dependability.
I would say it depends on what you put them on. Key factor to me only bc my father in law put them on a diesel Colorado and lost all traction uphill. Weight Distribution was just off with the heavy diesel engine in my opinion.
I highly recommend, just not a choice if you want an aggressive look

I had G2s before the coopers they were a great tire road wise. Normal dirt an sand was fine but anything muddy or really loose I felt I wanted more. Road noise an wear great I’d buy again for a DD that don’t see anything outside of normal dirt roads an beach use.

Yea, I would definitely not rate them as an off road tire.

    Here's an interesting article.
