My wife drove my 16 TRD Sport for the first time yesterday and said it was a better ride than her 16 Subaru Forester.

That, or give it a run without the SB? I really like the set up on road and off. I don't take it easy in corners either. You will have some body roll, but it is still planted, IMVHO.

It sounds like you end up with the combo that I like. :D

Someone had that info posted, I’ve looked and can’t find it now.
I remember reading the sport, pro and sr/SR5 all had the same bar.....but I could be remembering wrong :anonymous:

I have never drive an SR so I can't compare. The stock suspension on my TRD Off-Road is firm but complaint.

That is unless I hit some really broken up pavement, then my vertebrae have to do the shock absorbing...

Clear as mud.... looking up the part online shows two options for DC... Bar Stabilizer Front with Offroad (48811-AD050) and without Offroad (48811-04130). apparently this is a holdover part from gen 2.

It looks like I was wrong about the three parts numbers. It is funny that it shows two different SB end link configurations, but the SBs have the same base PN.

    Oh well.

Maybe it is the front coils, since they are showing three of those?

I tend to agree that I had read of three part numbers. I had the SR5=PRO in my mind... because I was looking for an SR5 swaybar to swap into my OR. I didn't persue it anymore once I did the coilovers and shocks as that was enough "tightening" for my liking. I did add the airdam as that 1MPG gets important on those 1K mile turnarounds. (a $6 savings...)

Memories are a awful thing! :D

I still have the SB and air dam in the crawlspace if we get a travel trailer.

I do need to see if the air dam has an effect for me. I had a couple long drives with 25mpg reported. Actual is about 0.5mpg less. I somehow can't see me getting 26 on a long run.

You're welcome. It is easy to give it a try. The torque values, if you put it back on, are posted around here somewhere. Definitely in the Service Manual.

I spy and 17” tire and tire changer, nice.

Checked my OR sway, 28.3mm at the bushings.
Have a line on a SR5 sway. I’ll check it when I get a chance.

Yup! Realistic tire prices and no BS fees for mounting and balancing.

The ones on the bike now are just about done. Time to order.

There's also a busted Ural crankshaft under the Christmas lights.

Fucking Russians. Rebuild at 16k for a factory flaw in the main bearing cage. They also missinstalled two wrist pin retainers scoring both bores also.

My OR was to mushy for me, just didn’t feel composed. Installed Pro shocks at 8k miles. Definitely a little stiffer, not to the point of uncomfortable. Compliant, controlled. Personally I think Fox and TRD did a good job on the valving.
Can’t speak on the sport shocks haven’t driven one.
