powerlifting is the shit. I never focused on getting a six pack or any BS like that just wanted to pick up heavy ass weight. that's what I'm about to make myself get back into doing. you burn lotssssssss of calories lifting heavy weight.

 

Yep. That's where I'm at right now. Just two weeks in and I'm visibly growing. Its a little weird. Lol. But for real, I'm moving my membership to Powerhouse Fitness when I move jobs. You should join me.

 

I'm going to try to make myself do the home gym thing again. gathered up some dumbbells recently. need to get some bumper plates but that's about all I'm lacking.

 

Boo. I need someone big to lift with.

lol I do miss being in an actual gym, but that is such a time suck out of my daily life now.

I'm more likely to join a gym once Amy and I are living together because then I won't have to be the one going home to let the dogs out..

 

Meh. Guess I'm ok with that.

 

yeah I gotta get into a regular rhythm of working out at home for shorter time periods before committing back to a gym.

 

Believe it or not, I've been getting these workouts done quicker than my older ones. Takes me 45 minutes even for a long volume workout.

 

yeah I gotta get myself on a stricter time/plan and stick with it. used to be killer at that stuff, but I also used to love spending 3+ hours in the gym when I worked part time at CVS and was taking 1 or 2 college classes.

 

I never fully took advantage of my time in college. First time I got in to the gym and LOVED it was during my time in Virginia last year during my stint at Fort Lee. Nothing else to do but class work and workout. So I went to the gym literally every day for 2 hours then ate the same thing at Chick-fil-A afterward. Did that for 4 months.

 

yeah man I miss my gym days big time. perfect gym back home, had a f'ing awesome workout partner, and would go for 2 a days sometimes...I lived at the gym, some days I was there for 6 hours chatting/working out doing whatever.

 

That might be a little long for me. I like to workout until I feel dead then leave and eat as much as I can. Lol.

 

we would eat at the gym lol. dude I was obsessed. it was too much really but I loved it. being one of, if not the, strongest guys in the gym without roids was awesome.

I was single, working part time, living at home...all I had was time lol

 

I haven’t been single since senior year of high school. All with my wife I might add. What even is single life? Lol

 

Figured so! Going to suck getting up in the morning for work. Didn’t want to wait to long or I’ll read something.
