He is saying that although it's easy to make a template for the splash guard people still want the template. Same reason he wanted the template for his cab mounts.

    To each their own......

But there's not really a template to it . They just give you a full plate and say trace it . And if it's not enough or if you cut to much it's useless.

As you said to each their own.
But if you have the tools to do a cmc you can easily make a fill plate and a piece of steel that size is going to be cheaper than paying someone to make that and ship it

Fuck do it for free . Cut then hammer and grind the cut piece to fit lol

Side bar story...buddy I work with rode them for years, doing the jumps and bumps. Kat was pretty good at it actually. Did it into his 40s without major incident, still rides to work downtown Toronto daily, no incidents. Few months ago he took up 10 pin bowling, own ball etc. Couple weeks back, he crushed his pinky finger on a back swing...required stitches then surgery with pins and all that. They game him a codeine for pain management after the surgery so he took one as prescribed when the freezing wore off. Totally fvcked him up and he blacked out, did a face plant into the bathtub...

Moral of the story...it's all good cuz it isn't the pinky on the fret hand while playing guitar!

Have fun on that cycle, don't ride it near a bowling alley

2006 Devinci Remix R1. Bought it in ‘08, super reliable and fits my lanky arms just right. It’s been hanging on the wall in my garage 2 full seasons, R shoulder surgery in 2017, broken left collar bone 2018. Hoping to put some kms on it this year...not sure the legs or lungs are as willing as my brain.

It's the norm now. I've seen from 1.21 to 1.31.

It’s not the price that has pissed me off (although it is pissing me off), but the rate at which it increased. +$0.15 on tuesday, -$0.05 wednesday, +$0.02 thurs, +$0.13 friday.

Yeah I noticed the jumps as well. It started happening since they rolled out the carbon tax bullshit.
