I'm thinking about lifting the truck from it's stock suspension another 1". There are conflicting reports on what the stock lift is at on a 2012 TX Pro.

The cheapest way about this is to add small spacers in the front and a leaf in the rear to level the truck. Just not sure the stock struts will stretch any further.

are you opposed to pulling the mud flaps off? Also, have you had a alignment lately? If your caster is to negative, that can cause tires to rub.

you can get a 1" inch spacer for the front that goes on top of the coil top hat. The struts don't need to come apart. They just slide in between that and the coil bucket. Most people hate on spacers (I'm guilty too :anonymous:), but it's an inexpensive option that will work for what you want to do.

If you want add the 1” up front......I’d go with a progressive AAL. Wheelers or Icon. Also leave the overload spring IN. This should leave you level.
You won’t be raised that high with just adding that single leaf. Also the progressive AAL is much beefier than just that leaf. Our springs suck and this helps them out tremendously.

I added 1/4” top plates to mine which raised the front 1/2”....I did an Icon progressive AAL with the overload spring OUT. This left me level, my whole truck as a whole is just a little lower than the setup above. I am considering putting the overload in on mine for the rake though....

Hope this helps. Either one above will yield you a great setup.

I ended up driving over to Toytec and buying the Bilstein 5100 lift kit without spacers. I installed a couple weeks ago, everything working and looking good.

I just got an alignment yesterday after replacing the UCA's, set the Toe to 0, Camber to 0, and Caster to 2.5 as suggested by others on Tacomaworld and Toytec. I have to say, the truck rides worse than before the alignment. Also, my tires are rubbing worse now than before the UCA's! :boom:

I wonder if the LCAs need replacing with the UCAs?

Shouldn't need to replace the LCA unless they are bent.

    Those are other specs^
Although it might work with others you should have your alignment redone by a trusted shop.

I've been using the same Tech at Goodyear for over 3 years. He always does a great job and has been aligning vehicles for 20 years. I see lifted trucks at the this shop all the time. I'll take the truck back next week and see if he can adjust the Caster to 3.0 or higher. If he can't, I'll have to install a spacer and push the truck to 3" lift instead of the 2.5" I'm currently running.

Thanks! I had just washed it.

I haven't done anything other than washing it. I'm surprised, too. It's a '13 and still not showing any UV damage on the lenses.

So I got the faux bead lock wheels on my truck and was wondering if anyone had any tips as to how to center them as best as possible so when they get balanced they come out good.
