You have to email gadget tell him what mods you have and he sends you a file, best use a laptop and you plug the device into the computer and YOU upload the map for your vehicle and yes if you upgrade let's say the CAI then you would want a new map.

You may have to wait a while for gadget to send anyone a file that didnt buy the maf cal directly from him. Hes a busy guy and for years he has stated his direct customers get squared away before second or third hand purchasers.

Just a lil info ive gathered from being here, and xru for a while.

It makes sense in the end, he isnt making money off of sending someone a map that didnt purchase the product from him.

I called the closet ups hub, for me it's a ways so it's an estimate based on weight and appx box size needed and it's pretty spendy, close to 35 bucks. Honestly check Amazon I got these from there for 150 or 160 I think for the kit and it was free shipping. Might have to be a local pickup item.

I got ill soon after I bought it so I never used it or had the pleasure in dealing with gadget so I cannot say one way or the other, but I have heard good and bad. My general take is that if your company name is on a product that you put out and you're proud of that product and wish to not only take care of old customers but gain new ones as well then you would do it or design it so it can be done by people down the chain and not be bothered by the task at hand. old saying "you attract more bees with sugar than with vinegar"
