I think I saw a truck with an awning attached to their Yakima jet stream rack?

The thought crossed my mind but I am now 90% sure it was my mistake. The lower mount came loose while adjusting the collar and I did not see it.

If I can get the replacement part I will fix them. They were just rebuilt and have brand new springs.

I don’t fit in the the throw it away and replace mentality when this is a straight forward fix.

Swapped the old front setup back in, took about 45 minutes in the rain! It’s kinda nice that a 19mm gets almost all of the bolts needed to swap front shocks.

I have ARB bracks on thule cross bars. I used bicycle tubing and then hose clamps. I wrapped it with electrical tape to cover it but I'm going to swap that out for giant heat shrink soon. Works well and you can shake the truck with it.

I guess that’s their own jerry-rig not a pre made bracket? I can make my own brackets but I’d like to see what’s out there

Walker Evans website sucks. They don't even list spare parts.

Yea it’s pretty shitty and they only list UTV shit except if you search you can find Jeep stuff and spares.

I found what I am fairly certain is the correct replacement part but want to triple check to verify it is correct before buying an $85 part that doesn’t fit.

If I can get the part it should be an easy fix and they will go back in.

They responded within maybe 2 or 3 minutes to my email inquiry about king shock parts.

Just called Walker Evans back and got the part on order, they had it in stock and should be here next week. I will triple check the other side that it is right and swap em back in later next week.

Either way see y’all this weekend!!

Waiting on parts is horrible. I 2nd day air'd a suspension from @HeadStrong Off-Road to make the AOAA meet.
